About the Role
Develop and implement effective merchandise strategies to optimize sales and enhance profitability within the food division (Fresh Food or Dry Food)
Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with strategic suppliers.
Develop a business plan with suppliers quarterly, ensuring a diverse and high-quality product selection and optimizing pricing efficiencies.
Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and product availability to make strategic and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Set KPI performance goals for individuals and the division, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a collaborative team culture.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging products, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
Bachelor's degree in any field.
Proven experience in food procurement, merchandising, or a related role.
Team leadership and management experience, with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate a successful team.
In-depth knowledge of the food industry, market trends, and the supplier landscape.
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
