About the Role

  • Supervise a Portfolio Management Team: Manage and lead a team of telesales representatives, including monitoring their performance, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring that they meet their sales targets.

  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs,sales script, and sales tools to onboard new team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to existing staff to improve their sales skills and product knowledge.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of individual team members, track key metrics in both sales performance such as GMV, retention rates, and execution performance such as call volume, touch rate, and conversion rates, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Goal Setting: Set realistic sales targets for the team and individual team members, and work with them to develop action plans to achieve these targets.

  • Strategy Development: Work with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue generation, average order volume (AOV), and GMV in new potential categories, identify new opportunities for growth, and improve overall sales performance

  • Process Improvement and projects initiative: Evaluate workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains in business processes and practices.

  • Customer Service: Ensure that team members provide excellent customer service to all clients and handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including key metrics, achievements, and challenges, and present these reports to senior management.

  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in leading online sales team (telesales)

  • Proficiency in data analysis, critical thinking, strategic planning, and attention to detail are essential.

  • Hands on in sales retention.

  • Ownership and accountability for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.

  • Previous experience in startups is a plus.
