About the Role

As an Operations Analyst at Freshket, you will be a key player in driving operational excellence and strategic planning within our dynamic startup environment. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform operational strategies, improve efficiency, and support the company's long-term objectives.


Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant operational data.Utilize analytical tools to extract insights and trends that contribute to informed decision-making.

  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify operational inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Strategic Planning Support:

  • Work closely with the VP of Operations to develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies.

  • Contribute to the formulation of mid and long-term plans aligned with the company's overall goals.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize operational processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Performance Monitoring and Dashboard Creation

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure meaningful metrics are tracked, providing actionable insights.

  • Regularly report on performance and suggest adjustments to improve operational outcomes.

Streamlining Accounting and other Operational Processes:

  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to streamline reconciliation processes.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • Proven experience in operations analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools and creating dashboards.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset to drive positive change.
