About the Role
Lead and manage a 20-person technology organization, directly managing Engineering Manager(s), QA Lead, and Infra team.
Own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, establishing agile rhythms and metrics to ensure predictable, high-quality feature delivery across all product squads.
Partner directly with the CTO to translate long-term technical strategy and architecture into actionable roadmaps.
Mentor existing Engineering Managers and formalize a technical leadership track (coaching Senior SEs into Tech Leads).
Drive a quality-first engineering culture by partnering with the QA Lead to transition the team from heavy manual testing to automated testing (SDET/TDD).
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to balance new feature delivery with strategic technical debt elimination.
Own hiring, performance management, career progression frameworks, and retention for the engineering department.
Qualification
A can-do attitude, growth mindset, and strong servant-leadership philosophy
A proven track record of scaling and managing engineering teams of 15+ people
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years managing other managers (EMs) or leading large departments
Intermediate to Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery metrics (e.g., sprint velocity, DORA metrics)
Strong operational mindset to build processes that help teams move faster, not slower
