About the Role
Strategic Key Account primary responsibility is to lead a team, drive initiatives to increase wallet share & GMV based on customer needs or data. Work closely with operational functions to resolve customer pain points to ensure the best service experience.
Manage a team of key account executives
Ensure the team achieves their individual and team targets
Provide the team with guidance and training on sales techniques, customer relationship techniques and how to resolve operational issues
Set direction to drive initiatives to increase restaurant wallet share & GMV
Participate in strategic direction and execution plan development to maintain restaurant retention rate.
Develop a plan for providing restaurants with a high service experience.
Empathize with restaurants and help resolve customer issues.
Collect and analyze data concerning restaurant clients’ behavior to understand changing needs.
Collaborate with the sales and area management team to identify and grow opportunities within territory .
Forecast and manage P&L, cost analysis, price and profit calculations.
Manage the spending of each customer within the budget.
Prepare business reviews with key buyers to update performance and build action plans for improvement.
Requirements
You have a proven track record in leading account management or sales teams. You’re goal oriented, capable of identifying how to and consistently achieve the team target. You’re detail oriented, capable of providing in-depth support to your team members. You’re analytical, capable of analyzing the overall picture drawing out insights and action plans.
Work experience in account management, sales, customer service or related fields
Having experience in leading a team
Having a background with startups is a plus
Having experience in the food business or related business will be an advantage.
Having good team players with analytical skills.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
